PLACE OF ORIGIN/ SOURCING: Asafoetida is obtained from the Ferula Plant. The dried vegetable milk that oozes from the underground Rhizomes and Upper Roots of this plant is used as Asafoetida. Kusha Spices Asafoetida is grown in Bagori, Uttrakhand.
PROCESSING: Kusha Spices Asafoetida is traditionally processed, pounded and powdered. It has zero added colours, fillers, additives & preservatives.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Kusha Spices Asafoetida is compounded and contains over 80 organic chemical complexes. Main components are Ferulic Acid and its Esters, Coumarins, and other Terpenoids. The Sulphur containing compounds are responsible for its acrid, pungent smell and its bitter, garlic taste.
