INGREDIENTS: Coriander seeds, Dry mango powder [Amchur], Red chilli powder, Black salt, Cumin seeds, Dried pomegranate seeds, Iodised salt, Cucumis pubescens [Kachari], Black pepper, Dried ginger, Mint leaves, Seedless tamarind, Original Indian bay leaf, Black cardamom, Fenugreek leaves [Kasuri methi], Carom Seeds [Ajwain], Asafoetida, Cinnamon, Cloves, Mace, Nutmeg, Turmeric.
RECIPE: Soak a cup of chickpeas in warm water overnight. Pressure cook them for 25 mins. Heat a pan, add oil, add assorted whole spices. Add finely chopped onion till they brown, add ginger garlic paste, pureed tomatoes and cook along with chickpeas. Add 2-3 spoons of Kusha Punjabi Chole Masala Powder. Add Salt to taste. Simmer for 15 mins. Add a spoonful of Ghee [Clarified butter] to enhance taste.
